France is open to the idea of inviting Ukraine to NATO. The country will continue negotiations with its allies on this issue.
This was stated by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot, RBC-Ukraine reports citing Reuters.
During his visit to Kyiv, Barrot said that his country is open to the idea of inviting Ukraine to join NATO.
“As for the invitation to Ukraine to join NATO, we are open to it, and this is an issue that we are discussing with our partners,” the French Foreign Minister emphasized.
