“95 of our people are home again. The soldiers who defended Mariupol and Azovstal, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kherson, and other regions... I am grateful to the team that is searching for and releasing the prisoners. We are doing everything we can to get all of our people held by Russia. I am grateful to the soldiers who replenish the exchange fund and to all partners who help,” he said.

In turn, Dmytro Lubinets said that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, 3767 Ukrainians have been returned from Russian captivity. In particular, the 58th exchange took place today. He also clarified that all Ukrainians are currently in need of physical and psychological rehabilitation.

“In order to record the condition of those returned, employees of the Ombudsman's Office are at the exchange site. They also inform the defenders about their rights in the future, including rehabilitation, social and medical care. This is an important aspect of our work,” he wrote.

Lubinets also clarified that the exchange took place with the mediation of the UAE.
