Missile fragments found in Moldova near the border with Ukraine
The wreckage of a missile was found in the north of Moldova. It happened four kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Border Police of Moldova.
According to the Moldovan border guards, on the morning of Wednesday, October 16, they received a report from local residents. They said that they had found several metal objects, most likely parts of a missile.
The wreckage was found near the village of Lenkeuts, Ocniţi district, 4 kilometers from the state border with Ukraine.
Moldova took immediate measures to secure the area and informed the emergency service. The wreckage will be inspected by a group of the technical and explosive section and the prosecutor's office.
