Russian Federation strikes at a kindergarten in Zaporizhzhia
This morning, on October 21, the Russian army struck a kindergarten in Zaporizhzhia. The blast wave and shrapnel damaged nearby cars.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional administration Ivan Fedorov and the State Emergency Service.
According to the State Emergency Service, at about 09:15, the enemy hit a residential sector in one of the districts of the regional center and partially destroyed a two-story kindergarten building.
As of 10:30 a.m., four people were reported wounded. Search and rescue operations were underway at the scene.
At 15:01, Fedorov clarified that the number of wounded as a result of the strike in Zaporizhzhia had increased to 15.
Two victims have already been reported.
“Doctors continue to examine the victims and provide them with all the necessary assistance,” wrote Fedorov.
