Russians shoot Ukrainian Armed Forces near Selydove

The Russian military executed two Ukrainian soldiers. It happened near Selydove.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

According to the prosecutor's office, it happened on October 18, 2024, at 14:38. Then the Russian occupiers captured two Ukrainian soldiers in the Pokrovsk district.

The invaders, who stormed a forest plantation near the town of Selidove, laid the unarmed prisoners of war face down. They kept them in this position, pressing their feet to the ground, and after a while shot them at point blank range with automatic weapons.

“The killing of prisoners of war is a gross violation of the Geneva Conventions and is classified as a grave international crime,” the prosecutor's office reminded.
