In Kharkiv, houses damaged and injured in night shelling

In Kharkiv, as a result of Russian shelling last night, several private houses were damaged in the city's Osnovyansky district and a fire broke out. In addition, two people were injured in the attack.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov.

The mayor informed that the victims were women. They are currently receiving medical care in the hospital.

A fire broke out in one of the three damaged buildings.

"Osnovianskyi district of the city came under enemy fire at night. Three private houses were damaged, and one of them caught fire. Two women were injured, both hospitalized," the mayor wrote in his Telegram.

According to the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, the injured women in Kharkiv are 50 and 75 years old.

In addition, the official said, the fire in the Osnoviansky district of the city in a private house was caused by the fall of ammunition fragments.

It is noted that cars and outbuildings were also damaged.
