This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to IRNA.

Thus, according to estimates, the reformist Pezeshkian received the support of 16.4 million Iranians, and his rival, conservative Saeed Jalili, received 13.4 million votes.

In the first round of Iran's early presidential election, the candidates failed to overcome the 50% threshold required to win. Pezeshkian won 10.4 million votes against Jalili's 9.4 million, with a voter turnout of 40%. Since no one passed the 50% threshold, a second round of presidential elections was scheduled in the country.

As a reminder, Masoud Pezeshkian had been in favor of a dialogue with the West and promised to seek friendly relations. He stated that his administration would immediately work to try to lift Western sanctions and restore the economy.
