Zelenskyy announced a new maritime strategy for Ukraine

Ukraine is currently working on a new state strategy at the sea - the Ukrainian Maritime Strategy.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"This strategy will soon be approved by the National Security and Defense Council - we are currently finalizing its points. We clearly understand that the war has changed the balance of power in our entire Black Sea region, and the Russian fleet will never again dominate this area," the president said.

Zelenskyy noted that when developing the strategy, they consolidate our interests and take into account Ukraine's new technological capabilities and our new relations with partners.

"Ukraine will always be a state that is able to protect its own interests at sea, transport arteries, and the interests of our allies and partners. I am grateful to all our people who ensure this. The Ukrainian Navy, all the defense and security structures involved, and the defense industry - public and private companies - who work for the sake of Ukrainian strength."
