In the course of the Russian missile attack on Ukraine on December 5, a missile fell on the territory of Moldova.
This is reported with reference to the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the ministry, the missile fell near the town of Briceni. The explosive object was discovered by a border police patrol.
The area where the missile was found was cordoned off by police and border guards. Specialized services are waiting at the site, the report said.
Moldovan security forces added that they have stepped up control in border areas in the north of the country due to Russian strikes against Ukraine.
