ATACMS can destroy the Crimean bridge

Russia seized Crimea to turn it into a large military base and control most of Ukraine's southern coast. However, ATACMS long-range missiles can destroy the Crimean bridge.

This was stated by the head of the State Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Budanov noted that if the Russians on the Crimean Peninsula were cut off from supplies, it would force them to submit.

The head of Ukrainian intelligence agreed with the opinion of the former commander of the US Army in Europe, Ben Hodges, that this will be a key factor in forcing Putin to defend himself.

"I fully support the opinion of General Hodges. So we need to do everything to implement it," said Budanov.

He also believes that ATACMS long-range missiles, which the USA transferred to Ukraine, can destroy the Crimean bridge. Those who think that ATACMS is not powerful enough for this are wrong.

"They should read the technical manuals. The only question is the number of missiles, but, in principle, they will allow us to carry out such a mission," Budanov stressed.
