Biden promised Trump that the transfer of power would be peaceful

US President Joe Biden had a telephone conversation with Donald Trump, who won the election. They discussed the transfer of power.
According to RBC-Ukraine, Biden's statement was cited by CNN.
The president stressed that the United States is a democratic country where the will of the people always wins.
‘Yesterday, I spoke with President-elect Trump to congratulate him on his victory and assured him that I will have my entire administration working with his team to ensure a peaceful and orderly transition. This is what the American people deserve,’ Biden added.
The US leader also praised Kamala Harris for running an ‘inspiring campaign’ and showing her ‘true character’.
According to him, the results of the vote will be perceived in different ways, but it is important to accept the choice that the country has made.
