Denmark has already delivered six F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. In total, Ukraine is to receive 19 aircraft.
According to RBC-Ukraine, this was stated by Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to her, Denmark has no changes in its plans to transfer a certain number of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
“Six have been delivered. This was the first batch,” Frederiksen said.
She reminded that since last summer Denmark has been involved in training Ukrainian pilots to fly these fighters.
“It was difficult, but we managed to succeed in the training. Therefore, the process continues. And then there will be another batch and another next batch. There will be 19 (aircraft - ed.) in total, as we said at the very beginning,” she said.-
