This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to NK News and Reuters.

The test was conducted in the form of a salvo missile launch.

According to the state news agency KCNA in a publication on Tuesday, the DPRK military fired several short-range ballistic missiles on Monday toward the sea off its east coast.

It is noted that as part of a test of a nationwide nuclear weapons control system called the "nuclear trigger," the North Korean army's artillery forces joined the country's first such exercise to demonstrate diversified nuclear capabilities and protest against the "provocative and invasive" military exercises of the United States and South Korea, KCNA said.

The North Korean news agency also reported that Kim Jong-un watched simulation exercises involving the maneuvering of troops in a nuclear counterattack position and artillery fire simulating the use of nuclear warheads in case of a nuclear crisis warning.

North Korea's leader praised the readiness of the "world's best" tactical nuclear weapons and expressed satisfaction with the exercises, according to DPRK state media.
