North Korea ratified the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement with Russia, signed on June 19 in Pyongyang.

By the Decree of the Chairman of the DPRK State Affairs, the ‘Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between the DPRK and the Russian Federation’ was ratified.
It is noted that the head of the DPRK signed the decree on November 11, 2024.
According to the text of the agreement, in the event of an armed attack on one of the parties, the other undertakes to immediately provide military and other assistance.
The parties also agreed not to enter into agreements with third countries directed against each other and not to allow the use of their territory to violate the sovereignty of the other party.
