This is stated in a statement by IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi, Ukrinform reports.

"During the inspection (of the ZNPP territory - ed.), the team did not notice heavy weapons, but confirmed that the mines reported earlier remained in place," the statement said.

It is noted that the IAEA experts visited the main control panels of power units 2, 5 and 6. They recorded that power units 2 and 5 remain in a state of "cold" shutdown, and power unit 6 is in a state of "hot" shutdown. In addition, the team visited the emergency diesel generators of power units 4 and 5 and walked around the perimeter of the plant.

"The staffing of the plant is of concern, as a significant number of personnel, including licensed operators from the main control rooms, have left ZNPP since the beginning of the armed conflict," the IAEA said.

Experts also confirmed that radiation levels at ZNPP are normal.
