This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Lithuania, Laurinas Kasiunas, reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to "ArmiyaInform".

"Lithuania seeks to fill another gap in the air defense of Ukraine - we will buy radars. We are now reviewing our priorities to contribute to the security of Ukraine with airspace radar systems as soon as possible. All alternatives to the acquisition of air defense should be used and done urgently," he noted.

He reminded that the needs of air defense are the most urgent for Ukraine. At the same time, the Armed Forces lack not only air defense systems to protect the sky but also ammunition.

"In a few months, Ukraine will probably face a shortage of ammunition again. That's why we need to look for opportunities to immediately provide ammunition. Now there is a good opportunity for this on international markets," added Kashinas.
