Lithuanian FM calls on the EU for a new strategy to defeat Ukraine

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis has emphasized the need to revise the approach to assisting Ukraine and called on European partners to take decisive action.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry.

The head of the Lithuanian foreign ministry noted that the situation requires not only financial and military support for Ukraine, but also political consolidation from the EU.

“We all need a new strategy for Ukraine's victory, based on strength and ability to mobilize, not on fear of escalation. The thousand-day war proved that it is impossible to achieve peace through a non-escalation strategy,” Landsbergis said.
