As reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on April 23, the meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Health, the Command of the Medical Forces, public organizations, and combat medics.

Among the main issues are the scope of providing pre-medical care and the modernization of tactical medicine. Particular attention was paid to the peculiarities of preparation, joint work on protocols based on the principles of evidence, and statistical data collection.

"We are creating a unified, effective system of providing medical aid to the wounded based on the standards of NATO countries and the combat experience of Ukrainian medics. That is why the joint work and help of those people who, since 2014, have been creating life-saving conditions on the front lines are very important to us. I am grateful to everyone for participating in the event and discussing the current issues of change," Nataliya Kalmykova emphasized.

At the same time, the First Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, Serhii Dubrov noted that active work is currently underway to create new clinical protocols based on the Joint Trauma System.

"By the beginning of autumn, we plan to prepare 30 protocols. We ask everyone to join the discussion," said Serhii Dubrov.

"Today, we have to reboot the training system and reach a qualitatively new level. Training should follow the same uniform rules and be based on the best domestic and foreign experience," added Oksana Sukhorukova, head of the Department of Health Care of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
