In connection with the accommodation of Ukrainian residents during this period, all Latvian self-governments provided assistance in the areas of social support, education, food, and accommodation.

The issue of accommodating Ukrainian refugees was one of the topics discussed on Wednesday at the annual talks between the Ministry of the Interior of Latvia and the Latvian Union of Local Governments.
