Pentagon chief arrived in Kyiv

The head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, has arrived in Ukraine on a visit. He is in Kyiv today, November 20.
This was reported with reference to Austin's post on X (Twitter).
The United States Secretary of Defense posted a photo from the capital's train station. He was met in Kyiv by US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.
"I just arrived in Kyiv to meet with Ukrainian leaders. I’m here today to deliver an important message – the United States will continue to stand with Ukraine in their fight for freedom against Russia’s aggression, both now and into the future," Austin wrote.
It should be noted that the head of the US Defense Department arrived in Ukraine on the eve of a new Ramstein meeting. The new meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense will take place this Wednesday, November 22.
