Poland closes Russian consulate in Poznan

Poland is closing the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Poznan. This is due to the fact that Russia is waging a hybrid war and attempting sabotage on Polish territory.

According to RBC-Ukraine, this was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.

“As the Minister of Foreign Affairs, it is my duty to respond decisively. The first step is to close the Russian consulate in Poznan. We will not back down a single step,” the Polish Foreign Minister said.

According to him, in this way Poland is protecting itself as a country and its citizens from Russian influence.

It is also worth noting that there are three Russian consulates general in Poland - in addition to Poznan, these are Krakow and Gdansk.
