UAE President: We are ready to help achieve peace in Ukraine

The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, said after a meeting in Russia with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin that he was ready to support efforts to achieve peace between Russia and Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Reuters.
According to the agency, on Sunday, Putin held an informal conversation with Mohammed at his residence near Moscow.
“We continue to make efforts to mediate the exchange of prisoners. And I assure you that we will continue to work in this direction. We are ready to make every effort to resolve crises in the interests of peace, in the interests of both sides,” the UAE president said.
Mohammed arrived in Russia on the eve of the BRICS summit, which is scheduled to begin on October 22 in Kazan.
