The European Parliament's plenary session has begun debating the issue of providing financial assistance to Ukraine. As part of the discussion, they are considering the EU's plan to provide a loan of up to 35 billion euros to support Kyiv.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the European Parliament.
This loan is part of a broader financial assistance package agreed by the G7 countries, and it is expected to be repaid from the frozen assets of the Russian Central Bank.
A vote in the European Parliament on this issue is scheduled for noon.
