President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga. Their meeting was closed to the press.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Sibiga, during the meeting with Erdogan, they discussed support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine, Crimea and other temporarily occupied territories belong to Ukraine.
“I emphasized Ukraine's interest in further developing cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey, especially in the defense sector. I also emphasized the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Black Sea. We also discussed ways to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace,” Sibiga said.
