Sunak reveals details of record military aid package for Ukraine
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has announced that the new UK aid package for Ukraine will include millions of rounds of ammunition, hundreds of pieces of equipment, and long-range Storm Shadow missiles.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, he said this in Warsaw on Tuesday at a joint briefing with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, following the announcement by the British government's press service.
"Today we are going even further: we will provide an additional half a billion pounds to Ukraine, bringing the total to 3 billion pounds of support for this year. We will provide them with a record-breaking aid package," said Rishi Sunak.
He noted that the aid package will include 400 pieces of equipment, 4 million rounds of ammunition, 60 boats for water raids, air defense equipment, and another batch of long-range precision missiles Storm Shadow.
