The newspaper noted that a total of about $4.2 billion was raised, including contributions from party committees and outside groups.
It is reported that Harris was able to raise more money than Trump, raising more than $2.3 billion through the Democratic National Committee, super PACs and so-called Super Pacs, which can receive unlimited donations from individuals. Of this amount, $1.9 billion has already been spent.
Instead, Trump's team has raised just over $1.8 billion, of which $1.6 billion has been spent.
As noted, about half of all funds went to advertising, especially in seven states considered key to the election results.
