The President of Lithuania arrives in Kyiv
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda arrived in Kyiv on Wednesday for an unannounced visit, where he will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and take part in events marking the 27th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the Lithuanian president, Yevropeiska Pravda reports.
According to the information, the Lithuanian president will discuss with the Ukrainian president the agenda of the NATO summit in Vilnius in July, as well as Ukraine's negotiations on EU membership, and the assistance of Lithuania and the European Union to Ukraine.
Nausėda arrived in Kyiv from The Hague, where he discussed further support for Ukraine at a meeting of 7 heads of state yesterday.
From Kyiv, the Lithuanian president will travel to Brussels, where a summit of European leaders begins on Thursday.
