At night the enemy again resorted to combined tactics, testing air defense systems first by drone attack, then pulling up missile resources.

This was said by the speaker of the defense forces of the south of Ukraine Natalia Humenyuk, reports RBC-Ukraine regarding the broadcast of the telethon.

During the drone attack in our area of responsibility, we observed enemy missile strikes, in particular, on the territory of the Kherson region, the enemy sent an Iskander-M type ballistic missile, and from the aircraft of tactical aviation from the waters of the Black Sea sent X-59, guided aircraft missile, directly during the workout on the fractional attack", - said Natalia Gumenyuk.

According to her, this time the drone attack was focused on the energy sector of the Odessa region. The enemy "abundantly poured" drones from the waters of the Black Sea, quite effectively managed to work off.

A total of 8 drones were destroyed, the wreckage of one of them fell on the territory of the energy facility, causing a fire, which resulted in a curtailment. The facility itself and up to 170 thousand subscribers were de-energized, according to preliminary data. People were not injured. Two more drones hit an agricultural enterprise on the territory of the Kherson region, people were not injured, and the object was mothballed.

"With the missiles, the enemy was trying to hit certain objects, obviously, but still the hit happened in an open area. Fortunately, no people were hurt either. The very fact that the enemy is combining drone, ballistic, and airborne missile attacks speaks of an attempt to exhaust air defense systems and gain any victories in a combined manner," the speaker said.
