Trump makes a new cynical statement about Ukraine

Sep 17, 2023

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has once again made a cynical statement about Ukraine.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to an interview with NBC.

"There were certain parts, Crimea and other parts of the country, that many people expected this to happen. It could have been negotiated. So they could have made a deal that would have less territory than Russia has already seized, to be honest. And they could have made a deal in which no one would have died. They would have had a deal. They would have had the country of Ukraine," he said.

Trump added that what is happening now is "not good for Ukraine."

"Now no one even knows if Ukraine will be completely taken over. I will say this: something is happening, and it is not good for Ukraine. Because the news no longer reports about the war. It's fake news. They don't report on the war anymore. You won't find many reports. This means that Ukraine is losing," he said.

The former US president also said that the spring offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not take place.

"Ukraine's spring offensive never happened because they were met with a wall of weapons and bombs," he added.
