If the US decides to cut military aid to Ukraine, our country will lose. Our own production is not enough to resist.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing his interview with Fox News.
During the conversation, the journalist asked the president a clarifying question about his recent statements about the possibility of negotiations. This refers to Zelensky's interview with Ukrainian Radio, where he said the following words.
“We are an independent country. And during this war, both our people and I personally, in negotiations with the United States, with Trump, with Biden, and with European leaders, have proved that the rhetoric of “Sit down and listen” does not work with us,” the president said.
Referring to this context, a Fox News journalist asked Zelenskyy what would happen if the US government cut military aid to Ukraine. In response, the head of the Ukrainian state said that in this case, Ukraine would most likely lose.
“If they cut it, I think we will lose. Of course, in any case, we will stay and fight. We have our own production, but it is not enough to win. And I think it is not enough to survive. But if this is the American choice, we will decide what to do,” the president said.-
