"This contract will provide a significant capability enhancement to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and support their ability to defend their people and country against airborne threats," commented Erik Lee, President of Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace.

The CORTEX Typhon C-UAS is based on field-proven Teledyne Flir and KONGSBERG software and hardware, including the KONGSBERG Surveillance and Armed Remote Workstation (RWS) and the CORTEX Integrated Combat Solution (ICS).

The Norwegian Armed Forces provided Ukraine with Dingo vehicles, machine guns, and ammunition for this system.
