“In order to reduce the number of people suffering, a decision was made to evacuate the 10-kilometer zone from the settlements of Bilopillya and Vorozhba. During the three days of the planned evacuation, more than 1,000 people were evacuated, including 200 children. All of them are housed in prepared buildings,” he said.

According to him, the evacuation process is taking place within the Sumy region. However, he added that those who want to leave the region have the opportunity to do so, they are accepted in Poltava, Kyiv, and the western regions.
