Zelenskyy: Putin is only afraid of Trump and possibly China

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is afraid of US President-elect Donald Trump. He may also be afraid of China.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing his post on the social network X.

The head of state informed that he said these words to Trump during a trilateral meeting in Paris organized by French President Emmanuel Macron.

“I told President Trump that Putin is only afraid of him and possibly China. And it is true. Only determination can bring this war to a just end and ensure a lasting peace,” Zelenskyy said in a statement on his Facebook page.

The President emphasized that America is capable of achieving extraordinary results that others have failed to do. And in order to succeed in ending Russia's war against Ukraine, unity is needed. In particular, the unity of the United States, Europe and everyone in the world who values security, strong positions and guarantees of peace.

“The most important thing is to work together to end this war. This is our top priority. This is what we focused on during the meeting in Paris, and it was a very productive conversation. I once again express my gratitude to President Macron for organizing it, as well as my deep gratitude to President Trump for his firm determination to end this war justly,” the head of state wrote.
