A leading aircraft development company is on fire in Moscow

A fire broke out in the Russian capital of Moscow in the building of the Sukhoi Research and Design Bureau (SRDB). The roof collapsed due to the intense fire.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Russian media and the Telegram channel of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

Initially, the Russian ministry said that the fire area was 400 square meters, then announced that the fire had been localized, but later the Ministry of Emergency Situations said that according to updated information, 800 "squares" were already on fire.

It is noteworthy that the Russian Emergencies Ministry does not mention a fire at the Sukhoi Design Bureau, but rather reports that "an unused building" in northwestern Moscow is on fire.

At the same time, the footage released by the Ministry, as well as videos from Russian media and Telegram channels, shows that the building of this particular enterprise, which is considered one of the leading aviation equipment developers in the aggressor country, is on fire.

"In the northwest of Moscow, the design bureau of the Sukhoi Design Bureau is on fire. All the smoke is being blown by the wind to the Botkin Hospital," Moskvach writes.

We would like to add that this bureau is part of the aviation holding company Sukhoi.

According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, more than 70 firefighters are trying to extinguish the fire, and 25 vehicles are also involved.
