This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Dmytro Lubinets, the Human Rights Council Commissioner, on Telegram.

According to Lubinets, he had a telephone conversation with Malkoc and thanked him for monitoring the protection of the rights of Ukrainian children in Turkey who suffered from Russian aggression.

The ombudsmen also discussed mechanisms for the return of Ukrainian civilian hostages from Russia. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis Nariman Dzhelal, who has been held by the Russians since 2021. He shared his views with the Turkish Ombudsman.

"In addition, we discussed a possible visit of Mr. Malkoç to Russia to monitor the observance of the rights of Ukrainian prisoners of war," Lubinets said.
