In his speech at the Peace Summit, Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo emphasized the serious consequences of Russia's war against Ukraine for the African continent.
His words that the blockade of the Black Sea has led to food shortages and rising prices in all African countries reflect the reality faced by millions of people. At the same time, the consequences of Russian aggression are most felt by members of vulnerable groups.
"Our most vulnerable populations are suffering the most. In the midst of this suffering, it is important to chart a path to peace, and this summit is a platform for dialogue and allows us to work together," the Ghanaian President said.
Mr. Akufo-Addo emphasized the need for dialogue and joint work to overcome these challenges. The Peace Summit, in his opinion, is a platform that allows us to work together to find solutions.
