Austin: US and allies will continue to support Ukraine on battlefield

The United States and its partners will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine on the battlefield.

This was stated by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, according to his post on X (Twitter).

He stated that it was a great honor for him to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv. In particular, to reaffirm the United States' continued support for Ukraine.

"We, along with our allies and partners, will continue to support Ukraine’s urgent battlefield needs and long-term defense requirements," Austin said.

On November 20, the US Defense Secretary arrived in Ukraine on the eve of a new Ramstein meeting. A new meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense will take place this Wednesday, November 22.
