Donald Trump's possible conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is a good sign for Ukraine. Such a call could mean that Washington will continue to support Ukrainians.
This was stated by British Defense Secretary John Healey, RBC-Ukraine reports citing Sky News.
Healy said during a speech in the British House of Commons that if the rumors about Trump's conversation with Putin are true, it is a “very good first step and an early sign” that the Trump administration will support Ukraine.
According to the minister, he expects Trump to “recognize that this is in America's interest.”
“If countries like Russia can redraw international borders by force, it sends a message that undermines the security of all countries,” Healy emphasized.
