British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has called on Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to end the war and withdraw his troops from Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to The Guardian.
The British prime minister said that Putin's “irresponsible rhetoric” about nuclear weapons “will not stop our support for Ukraine.
“We are now on the 1000th day of the conflict, 1000 days of Russian aggression, 1000 days of casualties in Ukraine. We have been with Ukraine from the very beginning. I have doubled down on my clear message that we must provide Ukraine with everything it needs to win this war against Putin,” Starmer said.
In a direct address to the Russian dictator, Starmer said: “On the 1,000th day of Russia's illegal war in Ukraine, I say again: Stop the war, get out of Ukraine.”
