China announces intention to deepen cooperation with North Korea

The People's Republic of China is ready to work closely with the North Korean legislature to help relations reach a "higher level."
This was stated by Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji, RBC-Ukraine reports citing Reuters.
"It has always been our strategic unwavering policy to maintain, strengthen, and develop relations between China and the DPRK," Zhao quoted Chinese President Xi Jinping as saying during a meeting with North Korean politician Choi Rong Hae.
