The People's Republic of China has become a decisive factor contributing to Russia's war against Ukraine.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a joint statement following the NATO summit.

"The PRC has become a decisive factor in Russia's war against Ukraine through its so-called "boundless" partnership and large-scale support for Russia's defense industry. This increases the threat that Russia poses to its neighbors and to Euro-Atlantic security," the statement said.

As a result, the Alliance called on China, as a permanent member of the UN Security Council, which has a special responsibility to uphold the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, to cease all material and political support for Russia's military efforts.

The document clarified that it was a transfer of dual-use materials. In particular, weapons components, equipment, and raw materials serve as resources for Russia's defense sector.

"China cannot allow the largest war in Europe in modern history without it negatively affecting its interests and reputation," the statement concluded.
