The participating states of the Third International Food Security Summit have agreed to further fund the Ukrainian initiative Grain from Ukraine. The allocation of about $44 million for this program is expected.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The summit, under the auspices of the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian program, was held in Kyiv on November 23, the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holodomor in Ukraine. The event brought together world leaders, ministers, representatives of international organizations and leading experts.
“As a result of the summit, the participating countries announced further financial support for the Grain from Ukraine program totaling about $44 million,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.
