Defense forces have partial success near Klishchiyivka

According to the results of the assault operations, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have partial success in the Klishchiivka area of the Donetsk region.

As reported by Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, publishing operational information as of 18:00 on September 15.

"The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, offensive (assault) actions in the Bakhmut direction, destroy the enemy and step by step liberate the occupied territories. According to the results of the assault operations, the Defense Forces have achieved partial success in the Klishchiivka area of the Donetsk region," the message reads.

According to the General Staff, the operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

During the day, 17 combat clashes took place. In total, the enemy carried out 54 airstrikes and 20 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are victims among the civilian population.

On the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the armed forces of Belarus perform tasks in the border areas with Ukraine.

In the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, continues shelling of populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation. He carried out airstrikes in the Leonivka and Gremyacha districts of the Chernihiv region. About 20 settlements were shelled by artillery and mortars, among them Novovasylivka, Seredyna-Buda, Vodolagi, Stepne of the Sumy Region and Gatishche, Pletenivka, Vovchanski Khutory of the Kharkiv Region.

In the Kupyan direction, the aggressor carried out airstrikes in the districts of Kotlyarivka of the Kharkiv region and Novoselivskyi of the Luhansk region. The invaders fired artillery and mortar fire in the areas of Dvorichna, Masyutivka, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Kislivka settlements of the Kharkiv region.

The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Lyman direction. The areas of the settlements of Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Belogorivka of the Luhansk region, and Spirne, Vesele of the Donetsk region were hit by airstrikes. More than 10 settlements were affected by artillery and mortar shelling, among them Nevske, Belogorivka of the Luhansk region, and Spirne, Rozdolivka of the Donetsk region.

In the direction of Bakhmut, Russian troops tried to restore the lost position in the areas of Yagidny and Bohdanivka of the Donetsk region. The enemy also carried out airstrikes in the Bohdanivka and New York districts of the Donetsk region. More than 20 settlements, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and Druzhba of the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.

The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions in the Avdiyiv direction. About 10 settlements, including Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, and Keramik of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Maryinka direction, during the day, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 7 enemy attacks in the Maryinka area. The aggressor carried out an airstrike in the Krasnohorivka region of the Donetsk region, where artillery and mortar shelling continued. About 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Kostyantynivka, Katerynivka, and Elizavetivka of the Donetsk region, were under the fire of the invaders.

In the direction of Shakhtarsky, areas of Urozhane and Staromayorske settlements of the Donetsk region were hit by enemy airstrikes. About 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vugledar, Prechistivka, Shakhtarske, Zolota Niva, and Novomayorske of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.

In the direction of Zaporizhzhia, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Mala Tokmachka and Robotina of the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 20 settlements, including Charivne, Orihiv, Mali Shcherbaki, and Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region, were hit by artillery and mortar fire.

In the Kherson direction, about 10 settlements were hit by enemy artillery and mortar attacks, among them Olhivka, Kherson of the Kherson region, and Stara Bohdanivka of the Mykolaiv region.

"In connection with the catastrophic losses of the occupiers, mobilization measures of the local population are being carried out on the territory of the Primorsky Krai and Khabarovsk Krai of the Russian Federation in order to supplement the newly formed 25th combined army of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In particular, active campaigning activities involving Russian servicemen of the newly formed 25th Army of the Russian Federation, who graduated from the mentioned educational institutions, are being conducted in vocational and technical schools, technical schools and among the graduates of boarding schools," the message reads.
