This is stated in a joint statement by US President Joe Biden, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the White House.

The statement said the US, Germany, and Romania are providing additional Patriot batteries; The Netherlands and other partners are providing Patriot components to ensure battery operation; and Italy is providing an additional SAMP-T system.

"We are working on the further announcement this year of additional strategic air defense systems for Ukraine," the statement said.

In addition, in the coming months, the US, and partners intend to provide Ukraine with dozens of tactical air defense systems, including NASAMS, HAWK, IRIS T-SLM, IRIS T-SLS, and Gepard systems.

Several Alliance members, including Canada, Norway, Spain, and the United Kingdom, will continue to play an important role in providing these systems, and many other supporters of Ukraine will assist them in doing so.

"The United States will reconfigure scheduled deliveries of critical air defense interceptors to foreign forces in coordination with partners to be delivered to Ukraine, providing Ukraine with hundreds of additional air defense interceptors over the next year," the statement said.

"We also welcome NATO's work to support Ukraine's efforts to develop a NATO-compatible integrated air and missile defense architecture. Our message to Moscow and the world is clear: our support for Ukraine is strong and unwavering," the statement said.
