Ecumenical Patriarchate joins the Global Peace Summit
The Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, Bartholomew, has decided to join the signatories to the communiqué of the Global Peace Summit on Ukraine, which took place in Switzerland.
This was reported by the press service of the Swiss Federal Council.
The Primate is the Archbishop of Constantinople, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
Earlier, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew confirmed his participation in the Global Peace Summit.
Peace Summit in Switzerland - what is known
On June 15-16, Switzerland hosted the first Global Peace Summit, initiated by Ukraine, without the participation of Russia. China refused to participate in the event.
The summit was attended by 100 delegations, including 57 heads of state and government from all regions of the world.
