As of June, Energoatom's direct losses due to the occupation of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant exceeded UAH 210 billion.
This was announced by the acting chairman of the company's board Petro Kotin, Ukrinform reports.
"Direct losses for the first week of their stay there amounted to UAH 35 billion. As of today, we have already lost more than UAH 210 billion due to the fact that Zaporizhzhya NPP is not working," Kotin said.
At the same time, Energoatom has not calculated the losses due to the forced relocation of ZNPP employees to the government-controlled territory.
According to Kotin, Energoatom loses about UAH 6 billion every month due to the downtime of ZNPP.
