EU foreign ministers have agreed on a plan to jointly purchase ammunition for Ukraine and replenish its own stockpiles. It is planned to allocate 2 billion euros for these measures.

According to the diplomats, the foreign and defense ministers at a meeting in Brussels agreed on a multi-faceted initiative aimed at providing Ukraine with 1 million shells over the next 12 months and replenishing its own ammunition stocks.
It was reported that EU foreign ministers are expected to sign a plan to supply ammunition to Ukraine today.
In addition, the EU is discussing the allocation of 500 million euros for the production of shells for the needs of Ukraine.
