Deputy Head of the European Union Delegation to Ukraine Remi Duflot said that the EU would help restore the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital, which was hit by a Russian missile the day before.

Duflot said this in a comment to Ukrinform.

The diplomat noted that the staff of the EU Delegation had helped with water and food and cleared the rubble after Russia's missile attack on Okhmatdyt the day before.

"We will also financially assist in the restoration of this symbol of Ukrainian medicine, a symbol of how the Ukrainian state treats the most vulnerable segments of its population," he added.

According to the deputy head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Russia should be held accountable for these actions. "The more of these things we see, the greater our determination to support Ukraine," said Duflot.
