Exercises involving the US and Romania start in Moldova

On 1 April, the international exercise JCET 2024 (Joint Combined Exchange Training) with the participation of the military from Romania and the United States will start at the training grounds of the National Army of Moldova.

This is reported on the Telegram channel of the National Army of Moldova.

According to the training plan of the National Army of Moldova, the training will last until 19 April. The training will take place at training centers and training grounds of the Moldovan army. The soldiers will jump with a parachute, and take part in field exercises and in training shootings during the day and at night.

The National Army noted that this year's exercises will also be attended by officers of the State Protection and Security Service and the Pantera special forces unit.

"The purpose of the exercises is to jointly train and exchange experience between Moldovan, Romanian, and American special forces, as well as to increase the level of interoperability between the contingents participating in the events," the ministry said.

The army also warned that in the coming days, military equipment involved in these exercises will be traveling on the country's roads.
