This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the French edition of Le Monde.

It is noted that the training of the Armed Forces pilots continues at an air base in southwestern France, the name of which is not disclosed for security reasons.

"In mid-June, the Air Force opened its doors for the first time since the beginning of the war in Ukraine for these exercises, which officially began in March," the French press writes.

Le Monde also reports that ten Ukrainian recruits, aged 21 to 23, joined the training. The pilots at the air base, among other things, must complete a course on simulators before being ready to take off in a two-seater plane with an instructor.

According to French media reports, the Alphajets fighter jet training course includes 80 hours of flying. In addition, another 50 hours are given for simulator training.

In general, this program has been shortened three times to speed up training - such an intensive course will last 6 months.
